The internet is also a great resource for students to use when comparison shopping. Ebay and Amazon may offer more affordable textbook options as well.

I am teaching online math (mostly Calculus) online using MyMathLab.

Is there any free online website that has the same features as MML? The platform that our school uses is Blackboard, but when I try to post my own assignments on it using MathEq, some of the students can't read them -- all they see is whirling wheels. (This happens with me, too.) Also, it is impossible to put animated graphing problems (such as graphing a parabola) on Blackboard myself.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

I do trust all of the ideas you've presented in your post. They are really convincing and can definitely work. Nonetheless, the posts are too short for starters. Could you please extend them a little from subsequent time? Thank you for the post.

I am Dr.V.K.Kaul, serving presently as Director, Uttarakhand Open University and previously as Professor, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. I owe my gratitude to University of California as my Major Advisor, Late Dr. A. R. Seshadri was mentored during Ph.D. by Late Dr. D.J Raski, from the Department of Nematology, UC Davis who also played a pivotal role for the development of subject in India at IARI, New Delhi and a great motivational force me too during his frequent visit to IARI.
In this part of India I am trying to strengthen science education through distance mode and OER shall remain indispensible tools for us initially for adoption ,subsequently for content modification too. I am confident that the Wiki tools shall become a transformational tool for knowledge. Thanks and lots of thanks to one and all who have contributed to develop it.
With warm regards to all
