Leland Ash, MBA , Instructor of Business and Economics at Skagit Valley College and Washington Online in Washington State.  Lee has been teaching online and hybrid classes for the past 10 years and enjoys helping students develop critical-thinking skills. He recently participated in the Open Course Library Project in Washington by developing open courses in Microeconomics and Macroeconomics.

Erik Christensen, Professor of Physics, South Florida Community College. Erik has a Naval Engineer degree and a SM degree in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has been teaching physics since 2004 and is a strong proponent of activity-based peer learning and integration of online components into his courses. Michael M.Hsieh, PhD., Registered Practitioner of PRINCE2 (P2R/267233) Project Management Methodology, Michael is a Senior Engineering Manager at Sun Microsystems Inc. He has over 28 years of experience in developing single chip microcontroller chips (at Intel), Sun's SPARC microprocessor chips, and Sun's Workstations and Enterprise Servers.  Michael teaches "PRINCE2 PM Methodology" and "Digital Logic Design" at UC Berkeley Extension.

Tonmar Johnson, Professor of Sociology, Solano Community College Professor Johnson is currently a full time professor at Solano Community College. He was born and raised in Vallejo, CA. His education includes first enrolling at Solano Community College, graduating from ENMU with a BA in both PoliSci and Sociology, and completing a MA in Sociology at CSU Sacramento. He is currently published in an article in the Western Journal of Black Studies, titled: "The Social Construction of an American Athlete: African American Boy Experiences Sport.

Kate Jordahl, Professor, Photography and Digital Imaging, Foothill College Kate is an exhibition artist with work in many collections including the Bibliotheque Nationale de France, Paris and was editor of the photography book, "Searching for True North." At Foothill College, she is chair of the Committee of Online Learning, and serves on the Faculty Senate, Tech Task Force and the College Skills Steering Committee. In 2004, Kate was the recipient of a Congressional Certificate of Recognition honoring leadership and contributions as a teacher and for outstanding and invaluable service to the community.

Lynda Case Lambert, Master�s in Distance Education (MDE). An instructor of writing and speech for 14 years at the community college level. A published writer, with over 100 feature articles, some 200 opinion columns, and one non-fiction book to her credit. She has also written a companion desk reference. In December of 2008. Henry J. (Jud) Sage, Professor Emeritus, Northern Virginia Community College.  Jud received his BS in Engineering at the U.S. Naval Academy, a Masters in Arts in history at Clark University and a Masters in Arts in English at the University of Maryland.  He also taught at Cameron Junior College, the University of Maryland and George Mason University.  He retired from the U.S. Marine Corps.

Albert Sargis, a professor of sociology from the University of Missouri � Kansas City (retired) earned his BA and MA from San Francisco Sate University.  Professor Sargis taught at Central Missouri State College, Boston University, and several community colleges throughout the country.

Amie Seidman, graduated with my BA from Manchester College and my MA from Miami University (Oxford, OH).  I completed my doctoral work at Auburn University in May 2011, and my dissertation, "'Fellowship of sense with all that breathes': Eighteenth-Century British Women Poets, War, and the Environment," received Auburn University's Distinguished Dissertation Award.  Currenty, I am an Assistant Professor of English at Bainbridge College.

Mei-Ling Shek-Stefan, Ph.D., Adjunct Faculty, Santa Clara University Mei-Ling obtained her degree in Applied Physics from Stanford University. She has worked in surface characterization at Brookhaven National Laboratory, and in processing and modeling at telecom and solar energy startup companies.  She has enjoyed her teaching experience in physics  and nanomaterials.

Christine Sibley, Technology Faculty Librarian,  Ohlone Community College Christine teaches research skills and computer applications. She holds a MLIS (Master's Library Information Science) degree, a BA degree in Mass Communication with Minor in Advertising and subject Journalism. She has also worked in health care for 15 years specializing in dentistry, and also has a background in juvenile justice. In addition she has operated an e-commerce business for 10 years.

Shane Tang, Math Instructor, Salt Lake Community College Shane graduated from Brigham Young University with both a BS and MS in mathematics in 2001.  Since then he taught at Barstow College and am currently teaching at Salt Lake Community College.  He taught the following classes: Introductory, Intermediate, and College Algebra, Trigonometry, Statistics, Math for Barbering and Cosmetology, Calculus I and II, Math for the Health Discipline, and Business College Algebra.

Valerie Taylor, Instructor, De Anza College Valerie teaches an online course called "Computers and the Internet in Society". She is an web user and learner and has been since 1994. She believe that the possibilities for making information and learning available to anyone anytime and everywhere are really exciting. She is a ardent advocate of Open Educational Resources and has many projects going in Wiki Educator.

Margaret White, Adjunct Instructor, Consultant, College of the Siskiyous Margaret has been teaching business and technology classes at the community college level for over 14 years and teaching online classes since 2003.  She has an MBA from UC-Irvine and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Education Instructional Design for Online Learning from Capella University.

Joy Zhao , Ph.D.,  Professor of English,  El Camino College, Torrance, CA. Joy received her M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from Purdue University, Indiana. For her doctorate, her first field was linguistics, her second field was the 18th-century British literature, and her third special field was semantics and pragmatics of verbal humor analysis.  Since 1996, Joy has been teaching, full-time, college composition, critical thinking, and creative writing classes at El Camino College located in Torrance, California. She has taught the classes both on campus and online.
